The Luxury Collection Sucks. The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts is part of Marriott International, an American multinational hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels and related lodging facilities.

Manny_Ra01, an angry guest shared his experience staying at a Luxury Collection hotel in November 2019 on TripAdvisor:

"We booked for our 2nd Anniversary. We informed all details to the reservation and expected a very nice stay from this luxury resort as they claimed. At the pier, the staff at the boat didn't even say hello to us. No feeling of a warm welcome at all. Nothing mention for our special occasion from any staff entire our stay. No welcome fruits, no bed decoration which we think this luxury resort should not fail to do. Thai food tasted so bad and expensive. At breakfast, there was water leaking from the air-condition dropped to the sushi tray. Unbelievable, no one takes proper action. Water still dropped to Shushi after an hour of our breakfast. For the first time of staying with The Luxury Collection and Marriott, we were so disappointed and need to think again to book the hotel under those brands."
